Becas Con Cora, una alianza entre la Fundación Con Cora y la Fundación Acción Interna

With the idea of complying with goals 5 and 10 of the Sustainable Development Goals, focused on gender equity and the reduction of inequalities, we joined with Fundación Acción Interna to provide scholarships in job preparation to women from three specific populations: those who are about to be released from prison, post-penalty women and women who are family members of persons deprived of liberty.

Those interested must register on the Fundación Acción Interna website; an admission process will follow. The requirements to apply are:

• Be a woman over 18 years old.
• Living in Bogota, Colombia.
• Availability of time to attend classes in person.
• Be part of one of the aforementioned populations (inmates about to be released from prison, post-release prisoners or women who are family members of inmates).

These scholarships, focused on basic job training, will develop and strengthen the skills necessary for working life. Thanks to these scholarships, the women admitted will learn about financial education, customer service and the use of technological tools, as well as tips for a successful job interview and advice on how to prepare their curriculum vitae. Once they have completed this training, they will be able to choose between studying gastronomy or dressmaking, depending on their interests.
