On April 25th, we celebrated International Girls in ICT Day, a date dedicated to promoting the access and participation of girls and young women in the world of technology. The Con Cora Foundation joined Chicas en Tecnología to commemorate this day with an inspiring event.
During the visit, experiences were shared about approaching technology, the barriers faced, and how to overcome them, with the goal of motivating more young women to explore their vocations without limits in this field. The importance of forming support networks among women in technology and becoming role models for those who wish to start their journey in this field was highlighted.
After our stop in Argentina and in line with our purpose of supporting women in vulnerable situations, we visited the Naho Foundation in Asunción, Paraguay. Our special guests were Julia Pericas and Tamara Kovalchuk, Karol G’s dancers, who shared their life stories with 40 young mothers and adolescents. These participants are involved in Naho’s programs, which aim to break cycles of poverty of young mothers through personal development, leadership, and entrepreneurship training, as well as reducing the gap that prevents them from accessing employment opportunities and income generation.
Both groups of women were invited to the #MSBLatamTour shows by our founder Karol G, to enjoy a magical moment of inspiration and joy.
