Medellín, Colombia
As the penultimate stop of the Con Cora Tour, Con Cora Foundation held a day in Medellín focused on recognizing the strength of women and the value of care as a transformative act. Alongside its founder, Karol G, the Foundation visited two projects that support women, girls, and children through health, well-being, and comprehensive care processes, reaffirming its commitment to those who sustain life through love and resilience.
The first visit took place alongside Fundación Santiago Corazón at Clínica CardioVID, where mothers who care for children with congenital heart conditions are supported. In this space, Con Cora shared a close and meaningful encounter with women who dedicate their lives to caring for their children, recognizing their strength and highlighting the importance of caring for caregivers. The day created moments for listening, emotional support, and care, acknowledging that caregivers also need to be supported.
The tour then continued at the Metrosalud Pink Clinic (Consultorio Rosado), located at CISAMF, where Con Cora supported breast cancer prevention and self-care processes with both rural and urban women. There, spaces for awareness, information, and support were strengthened, promoting early detection, body awareness, and the building of networks that foster trust and hope on the path toward comprehensive health.
Each encounter reaffirms our conviction at Con Cora Foundation, together with our founder, that genuine presence, a timely word, and an embrace can make a difference. These actions are part of an ongoing commitment to psychosocial well-being, health, and the dignity of women, recognizing that sustained support helps reduce gender gaps and strengthen more caring and supportive communities.
The Con Cora Tour continues to be a space for recognizing leadership, making processes visible, and walking alongside those who, from different contexts, are transforming realities through care, empathy, and hope.
