In our ongoing commitment to inspire and empower girls to reach their dreams, we provide educational opportunities that significantly contribute to their education and future.
Since last year, we have partnered with the “Ella Es Astronauta” (She Is Astronaut) program of the She Is Foundation in collaboration with NASA’s Space Center Houston. Our primary mission is to positively impact the lives of girls and young women aged 11 to 16, challenging gender stereotypes and overcoming economic barriers.
This program focuses on empowering, motivating, and inspiring girls and young women with outstanding skills and initiatives in Colombia’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.
“Ella es Astronauta with Academic Immersion” emphasizes the development of soft skills and project execution. We offer training in teenage pregnancy prevention and sexual and reproductive health, as well as talks on bullying and cyberbullying management. The experience culminates in an educational immersion at NASA’s Space Center Houston in the United States, where they can apply their skills and knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Our goal is to stimulate the aspirations of these young women, providing them with essential tools for comprehensive development. Join us on this exciting journey towards a future filled with possibilities for women in science and space exploration.
