Together with the She Is Foundation, we will select thirty-five Colombian girls to invite them to be part of the STEAM education program “She Is Astronaut” at the NASA Space Center in its third version.

Taking the dream of girls to the stars is a reality and a mission for the Con Cora Foundation. We will make history together with the She Is Foundation in its third call of the “She Is Astronaut” program, which will allow us to take thirty-five Colombian girls to the Space Center in Houston.

The call for applications is open from January 5 to February 5, 2023 in Colombia. The selected crew members will have the opportunity to participate in a hybrid educational program that includes four months of preparation and virtual classes on empowerment, social entrepreneurship and STEAM skills.

The program includes a one-week academic immersion at the NASA Space Center, where they will have activities in robotics, programming, rocketry, lunar habitat, presentation of their projects, training with astronauts and talks with experts in flight management and space travel simulation, among other activities. Ending with the graduation of this great expedition.

Then, they are connected to the Alumni program to continue replicating their knowledge and experiences as agents of change in their territories and to be able to continue their preparation for university.
