Women Ink is an artistic training program designed to empower women through the art of tattooing and transform stereotypes around this discipline. Through an intensive course, participants acquire technical skills and essential knowledge to begin a career in tattooing, supported by renowned artists.
The first edition took place in Medellín, Colombia, from October 2 to 13, 2023, and the second edition was held in Madrid, Spain, from July 15 to 19, 2024, impacting more than 60 women with quality training and mentorship.
Participants receive 40 hours of intensive training in one week, covering the fundamentals of tattooing, including:
– History and evolution of tattoo art.
– Tattoo execution techniques and different styles.
– Tools and materials used for tattooing.
– Workspace setup and application procedures.
– Aftercare and best practices within the industry.
The course is led by renowned artists Javi Cinco Ángeles Tattoo and Juan Ramón RC Tattoo, who guide the participants in their learning process and artistic development.
Javi Cinco Ángeles – Tattoo Artist & Mentor
I’m Javi Cinco Ángeles, a Spanish tattoo artist specializing in realism and black & grey. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve aimed for each tattoo to carry depth, precision, and an emotional charge that connects with the story behind it. Accuracy, subtlety, and detail are the pillars of my style.
I run Cinco Ángeles Tattoo, a studio where we combine professionalism, artistry, and a personalized approach. Every client receives individual attention and a unique design crafted specifically to reflect their story.
I’ve had the privilege of tattooing artists and athletes such as Nicky Jam, Dei V, Anonimus, Dani Ceballos (Real Madrid) and Juancho Hernangómez, as well as composers like Ríos and Manuel Lorente (Spreadlof).
Beyond tattooing, I have a strong passion for teaching. I’ve served as a mentor in social and prison-based programs such as ‘Prison Ink’, where I’ve witnessed how tattooing can become a powerful tool for expression, identity, and personal transformation. Sharing what I’ve learned is, to me, an essential part of the journey.
Juan Ramón RC – Tattoo Artist & Mentor
I’m Juan Ramón RC, a tattoo artist with over 13 years of experience, specializing in realism and black & grey. Throughout my career, I’ve refined a technique focused on capturing depth, texture, and emotion in every piece—always aiming to create tattoos with character and soul.
Together with Javi Cinco Ángeles, I run our studios in Jerez de la Frontera, Almería, and Madrid—spaces where professionalism, art, and a personal touch come together. Every client receives one-on-one attention and a custom design tailored to their story.
I’ve participated in national and international tattoo conventions, and I’ve had the honor of tattooing artists, composers, and professional athletes—experiences that inspire me to keep evolving and exploring new ideas.
Beyond tattooing, I’ve discovered a true passion for teaching and mentoring new artists. Sharing what I’ve learned and watching others grow has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.

Previous Editions
The first edition of Women Ink took place in October 2023 in Medellín, Colombia, where 30 women from challenging socio-economic backgrounds participated in a learning process around tattoo art. Guided by the renowned artists @javicincoangeles_tattoo and @rcjuanramon, the participants experienced a two-week training cycle designed to boost their creative potential and provide tools to transform their life projects through art.
The second edition of our training program was held in July 2024 in Madrid, Spain. This time, 30 women were selected to undergo an intensive learning process focused on tattoo art. Over 50 hours of theoretical and practical training, they strengthened their technical and creative skills alongside leading industry artists, achieving a 100% completion rate.
This edition not only reaffirmed the program’s commitment to personal, professional, and collective transformation through art but also featured a very special moment: the visit of our founder, Karol G, who personally encouraged and empowered the participants.
